Kahlil Ali, 4-star athlete from New Jersey, organizes an official visit of Pitt

Kahlil Ali, a 4-star athlete from New Jersey, told Pittsburgh Sports Now that he would use one of his official visits to come to Pitt.

Ali (Pennsauken, New Jersey) plans to make his official visit to Pitt over the weekend of June 16-18. Credit Pitt’s safety coach Cory Sanders for being Ali’s main recruiter.

Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Ali to get his thoughts on Pitt and what stood out to them.

“I like the way Coach Narduzzi runs things there and how he changed the program there,” Ali said. “I have a connection with him, and Coach Sanders and I love the way he runs things with his safeties and the love they showed me.”

Ali settled into a Top Five of Pitt, Cincinnati, Boston College, Louisville and West Virginia. He tells PSN his official visit dates are Cincinnati (June 4-6), Boston College (June 11-13), Pitt (June 16-18), Louisville (June 20-22) and West Virginia (June 23- June 25).

Other Power Five programs that offered Ali were Florida State, Illinois, Maryland, Miami, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia, and the Wisconsin.

This will be Ali’s third visit to Pitt, the last being a 2-day visit at the end of March.
