Nigerian UFC superstar Israel Adesanya received a special shirt from Everton striker Alex Iwobi ahead of his big fight against tough opponent Alex Pereira on Saturday, November 12.

This upcoming fight will see Adesanya put his middleweight gold on the line against Pereira in Madison Square Garden.

Interestingly, Pereira is the only man to knock out Adesanya so far in his career.

It can now be said that the Nigerian is going to get his revenge against Pereira but for that he has to raise his game against his biggest opponent.

According to the video found on instagrammixed martial arts fighter Molly McCann-Pearson was the one who presented Adesanya with the Iwobi jersey.

Is Molly an Everton fan?

Yes, she is an Everton fan and also a former Cage Warriors flyweight champion and currently competes in the women’s flyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

In the video, McCann and Adesanya had a sweet chat and wished the Nigerian luck in his next big duel.

Meanwhile, Iwobi and his teammates at Everton currently sit 16th in the Premier League table with 14 points after 14 games played.

Earlier, sports briefs reported how Nigeria international Alex Iwobi revealed he wanted to stay at Everton as his aim was to win trophies at the club.

Iwobi has been heavily linked with a move to French club Monaco following his recent sensational performances for the Toffees.

However, Iwobi insisted that he leave Arsenal for Everton as the Merseysiders are very ambitious.

The 26-year-old has around 18 months left on his contract, having joined the club on a five-year deal for £34m.
