Steph entered the NBA out of Davidson University and it was there that the playmaker first made his name as a deadly shooter. During LeBron’s fifth year in the league, he went to watch several Steph Curry games. After setting the single-season record for most of the three, Curry became a promising prospect for the NBA.

Before facing each other in the NBA, Curry and LeBron shared a hell of a relationship. In an interview, Steph said: “In fact, I still have the jersey he gave me. He signed a jersey for me. I think it was in November of my junior year. On my wall at my parents’ house in Charlotte, it is still there. And he wrote it to me, called me the king of basketball in North Carolina. Curry is certainly right on the rival part of things. It was against LeBron James that Curry won his very first NBA championship. As for James, he took revenge on the Baby Face Assassin after making one of the biggest comebacks in sports history the following year.

These two stars get the best of each other every time they go up against each other. While the two have their own fan bases, one thing that doesn’t change is the respect they share for each other. This was also seen last year during the All-Star Game where the two stars bonded during the game.
