Suryakumar Yadav wears Arshdeep Singh’s shirt in second T20I against West Indies, pictures go viral
While there was a 3 hour delayed start for the second T20I between the West Indies and India at Warner Park, Basseterre, St. Kitts, it was just the start the home team was looking for. Not only did they win the toss and opt to go bowling, but they got off to a dream start by getting rid of India captain Rohit Sharma’s first ball. Soon after, they got rid of Suryakumar Yadav who opened the innings with Rohit.
However, although he was there for a brief duration, what caught the attention of fans was that Suryakumar was wearing Arshdeep Singh’s jersey. Images of the same trend are online.
Notably, Game 2 of the five-game series was initially pushed back a few hours due to a delay in the arrival of team baggage. However, later he was informed that the game would be delayed for another hour with the first game of bowls at 23:00 (IST).
India are already leading 1-0 in the five-match series after beating the hosts by 68 runs in the opening T20I at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Trinidad and Tobago. From this game, India made a solitary change to their XI with Ravi Bishnoi out and Avesh Khan coming in.
